Design of a Platform for Aphasic care

1/3 of the stroke survivors suffered from Aphasia which
is a communication disorder that results from damage to the parts of the brain that contain language (typically in the left half of the brain). The condition can be reversed or improved using speech therapy. But in India, there is about 1 neurologist per 100,000 people. Even smaller is the number of speech therapist. Hence not much attention can be paid towards the rehabilitation of the Aphasic. This thesis presents a system design solution to improve Aphasic Care. The solution has been worked out keeping in mind Indian context.
